Delft MaMa is a non profit organization in the Delft area which helps welcome international pregnant women and mothers of young children. The prenatal and postnatal care is organized in a very different way in The Netherlands. Delft MaMa helps newcomers understand it, minimize cultural shock, meet families in their situations and attend courses on many birth and parenting related courses in the greater Delft area.

In the Netherlands we have a very special system called maternity care. Here a maternity care nurse will come to your home, very soon after your baby is born, for 7 or 8 days to help and assist you.

During this special period, I can perform your personal wishes. Together with midwives, I can help you make your maternity care week a nice, relaxing and precious time.

As an experienced, independent and flexible maternity care nurse I work mostly in the region Uithoorn, Aalsmeer and Amstelveen. I will personally guide you from the moment you sign up. You need to contact me after 12 weeks of pregnancy for signing up. Well before the birth I will meet you and your family and discuss your needs and personal circumstances. After you have delivered the baby in the hospital I am there when you come home from the hospital.
